Maximo Data Steward – 12-Month Contract

TAQA North is currently searching for a Maximo Data Steward to join our team for a temporary 12-month term in our Calgary office. Reporting to the Supervisor, Enterprise Applications, the Maximo Data Steward will act as a support for application functionality, solutions, training, and documentation. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the Enterprise Applications team to anticipate and provide solutions that deliver high value benefits and business satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing, training, and documentation activities for the Maximo MAS 9 upgrade.
- Serve as a coordinator and system administrator for collecting, validating, and entering source data into Maximo asset records.
- Ensure asset inspections are aligned with field operator routes and update operational statuses accordingly.
- Develop and maintain various Operational and HSSE checklists and inspection forms.
- Review preventive maintenance (PM) work orders and coordinate scheduling of required services.
- Add Orifice Plate meters into Maximo and establish associated preventive maintenance work orders.
- Update and maintain accurate asset and location data for Riser Sites and Valve infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 High School graduate with preference given to candidates with relevant past internship/co‑op or work experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficient in Maximo with a strong understanding of system standards, naming conventions, and data structures.
- Ability to commit to a full 12-month contract working full time.
- Possess a valid vehicle operating license and ability to travel to Alberta site locations.
- Ability to provide three positive professional references and successfully complete a criminal background check.
