We are searching for an eager Enterprise Applications Intern. Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Solutions, the Enterprise Applications Intern role will have many tasks, exposing the student to emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, automation, and enterprise application support. In this role, you will contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives, research innovative technology solutions, and help identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation. This internship offers hands-on experience working with business and IT stakeholders to enhance user experience, drive operational efficiencies, and support continuous improvement across the organization.

This intern position is based out of Calgary, working from our office 5 days per week. This is a full-time position beginning in May 2027 and ending in either December 2027 or April 2028 depending on the successful candidate’s preference. Key Responsibilities:

  • Research emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and automation opportunities.
  • Assist with proof of concepts and pilot projects related to predicative analytics, automation and AI coding.
  • Support initiatives focused on improving user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement within IT and business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and technology solutions.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and ownership of work, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to learn and apply Microsoft Office tools, business applications, automation technologies, and AI solutions to support process improvement.
  • Prior internship, co-op, volunteer, customer service, or relevant work experience is considered an asset
  • Experience working on academic, extracurricular, or community projects demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and initiative is considered an asset

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a computer science bachelor’s degree program, preference will be given to those in their 3rd or 4th year
  • Must be returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term
  • Must attach your most recent unofficial or official transcript with your application to be considered
  • Available to work full-time in our Calgary office for the duration of the 8-12-month work term. Please indicate term length preference on either your resume or cover letter
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • The successful candidate will be required to provide satisfactory references and pass a criminal background check
