We are searching for an eager Enterprise Applications Intern or Summer Student. Reporting to Supervisor, Enterprise Applications, assisting the Information Technology team. This role will support IT departmental objectives through the completion of several Enterprise Application projects. This role will play an active role in necessary areas of quality assurance/quality checks, automation, data integrity and validation. They will also gain a valuable understanding of clean processes, data integrity and the importance of attention to detail during testing. They will get a chance to automate testing, configure data loading routines and create validation reports in SQL and/or PowerBI.
This is an intern, or a summer student position based out of Calgary. The Intern position is full-time for a start date of January 2025 (8-month term) or May 2025, if it is a summer student role (4 month term).
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Application upgrade support - testing processes within some of our Enterprise applications such as Maximo, QByte, OpenInvoice, OnBase and others including validating, testing, and comparing reports and testing interface data being sent to between multiple systems for integrity and validity
- Support Implementation of new Processes/Applications/Systems/Workflows
- Automation of testing procedures
Your Qualifications:
- In a degree program specializing in Information Technology or Computer Science and returning to school in Fall 2025.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Power Apps and/or Power Automate Knowledge considered an asset
- Power BI knowledge considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated desire to learn and develop their skills using new concepts and technology
- Enthusiastic and motivated
