Job Title: Financial Accounting Summer Student ~ RQ 24-61 ~

We are searching for an eager Financial Accounting Summer Student. Reporting to the Supervisor Financial Applications Support, the Financial Accounting Summer Student will have the opportunity to work with the Financial Accounting team, supporting their processes in an oil & gas corporate office environment. 

This is a summer student position based out of Calgary. This position is full time from May – August 2025

Your Key Responsibilities:

• General support during summer holidays (Within Master data, AFE administration and Treasury)
• IFRS 16 annual testing
• Set up and clean up master data files.
• Support various 2025 Finance projects and initiatives as required.

Your Qualifications:

• Students must be pursuing a University Degree, majoring in Accounting and returning to studies in Fall of 2025.
• Must have completed third year university accounting courses
• Have a general understanding of IFRS
• Must enjoy working collaboratively within a team, but also be highly motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Prior experience in oil and gas considered an asset
